Atkinson Clocktower

Built in 28 December, 1905 in memory of Francis George Atkinson, the first district officer of Jesselton (Kota Kinabalu today). His mother Mrs Mary Edith Atkinson presented two-faced clocktower to Jesselton town as tribute to the memory of her son and it was decided later that a clocktower would be built in his Honour.
Fun fact: It is the oldest standing structure in Kota Kinabalu
